Yeezy (Terminated)
The most commercially successful musician-brand partnership in history — $1.7 billion in annual revenue at its peak. The Boost 350 and 750 redefined sneaker culture. Terminated in October 2022.
Adidas ended the partnership with immediate effect after Ye made antisemitic remarks and wore a 'White Lives Matter' shirt at Paris Fashion Week. The termination cost Adidas over $246 million. All remaining inventory was sold by early 2025, with proceeds donated to anti-discrimination charities including the Anti-Defamation League. Ye has not secured another major apparel partner. On resale, the market is split: iconic silhouettes like the 350 V2 'Zebra' and 700 'Wave Runner' hold value as collector pieces precisely because no new stock will ever be produced. Newer models that were still in production at termination have depreciated.
